Rose Marie (Krebs) Junkman

Rose Marie Junkman , age 90, passed away on May 3, 2022. Both of her daughters were there as she grew her angel wings (probably purple) as she decided her work here on earth was done.

Rosie was born on June 9, 1931, in Manson, Iowa, the daughter of Lillian and George Krebs.

She raised five kids in Manson and was kept busy going to all their sporting events. If there was an award for "Best (and loudest) Fan" she would have won it hands down.

When her first husband, Earl passed away she moved to San Antonio, Texas (much warmer and closer to her two daughters, Jaci and Kelley). She wasted no time joining a gym, exercising, making new friends, and constantly on the go. 

She met her second husband, Neal Solomon, at her gym. They married in 2004 and began a life of jet setting across the globe. Their travels took them to China, Russia, Thailand, Japan, Israel, Germany,Italy, England, France, Holland, Hungary, Austria, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, and a river cruise down the Danube, Maine and Rhine. She absolutely loved traveling and sharing her experiences and the dozens of souvenirs she brought back to show her children.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lillian Krebs, her first husband, Earl, and her youngest son, Tony. She will be deeply missed and survived by her four children, Randy (Julie), Rick (Marian), Jaci and Kelley; nine grandchildren: Bailey (Daniel) Wendelschafer, Corey (Dana), Aiden, Tanner, Jodie (Andy) Warywoda, Shelby (Kat Wheaton) Greenlaw, Kylee (Jake) Cummings, Megan (Michael) Junkman, Hannah (Tyler) Howell; 15 great-grandchildren: Jett, Makaila, Byerly, Julian, Jonah, Evelyn, Mabel, Isabelle, Casen, Blake, Gage, Brok, Talen, Rowen and Raiden; husband Neal, his son Steve (Bel), his daughter Cindy, and his grandchildren: Shannon (Jack) Bettencourt, and Neal.
