Paul Keller Obituary

On January 6, 2022, Paul Glenn Keller, 49, of Manson, IA (hometown, Portsmouth, VA), went home to the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.  He is predeceased by his grandparents, Gilmer and Edith Linton, and Paul and Lilly Keller.   Paul is survived by his children, Haylee Keller (Brandon), Sierra Keller (Austin), Sean Keller, and a grandson, Asher;  his mother Carolin Harris (and step-father Ken Harris);  his father, Paul Keller (Polly); a sister, Angela Jergens (Beau); two half brothers, Zach Keller and Raynor Keller, and a half sister, Jamie Holland (Cory), two step- brothers Chad Harris and Jason Harris and a step-sister Jodie Cook; and a host of nieces ,nephews, cousins and other family members.

Born in Portsmouth, VA, Paul moved to Iowa around 1997, where he met Laura Richardson and they had three children together who are now ages 20, 19, and 14 years old.  He worked for the Webster County Sheriff’s Office approximately 9 years, enjoying his job there.

Paul loved spending time with family and friends, taking his children fishing and bowling, and other activities; and he loved music, especially reggae.  He has loved sports from a young age, and played starting from T-Ball and Little League baseball with Olive Branch Little League, football with the Olive Branch Football Association, to playing baseball for Western Branch Junior and High School in Chesapeake, VA.  Paul was a huge Philadelphia Eagles Fan and liked collecting Eagles memorabilia.  He was an animal lover and had numerous dogs and cats, and other pets throughout his life.  Paul had a great sense of humor and was quite the jokester, and he never met a stranger.  He was a great Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

Paul will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  If you would care to, you may make a donation in Paul’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation.
