Mary Lou (Keleher) Korte
Obituary
Mary Lou was born in Palmer, Iowa on October 10th, 1928 to John and Edna Keleher. She graduated from Palmer High School in 1946. She married Robert Korte and together they grew in love by sacrificing for each other, living and farming in the Palmer area. She devoted her life to her family. Her greatest desire was that all would know and love and serve the Lord Jesus and strive to be with Him in heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Michael; sisters Naida Benson and Lois O’Connell; brothers Keith and Paul; sisters-in-law JoAnn Dencklau and Elizabeth Korte; brothers-in-law Owen Harrold, Harold McCurdy, Hank O’Connell, John Rodenberg and Dennis Shimon.
She is survived by her daughter Therese (Bill) Henderson of Emmetsburg, Iowa; son Patrick (Michelle) Korte of Altoona, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister and beloved friend Shirley Harrold; sisters-in-law Lois Keleher, Rosemary McCurdy, Lois Shimon, and Ellen Rodenberg; brothers-in-law Paul Benson, Donald Dencklau, and Leonard Korte.
