LaVern Andrew Schreier

LaVern was born in Manson, Iowa, on December 10, 1928, the son of Frank and Anna (Lang) Schreier.  He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia, his son, Stephen, his parents, his sister Mardella, and his brothers, Mervin, Lloyd, and Norman.  He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Schreier and Rebecca Valenz.

LaVern was a government meat inspector for over 40 years in Ft Dodge and later Omaha, NE. Upon retirement he and Pat moved to Florida and spent many happy years there until Pat died in 2011, when he moved back to Manson.
