Kevin Doyen Obituary

Kevin was a great kid. He loved helping people when asked. He loved going canoeing with his Dad, mowing for his parents and grandparents, going to the races with his Mom, watching NASCAR, especially his favorite driver #18, Kyle Busch, riding his motorcycle and playing on X-Box and camping with family.

He was a Junior at Newell-Fonda School, was in FFA, played soccer and loved spending time with his friends.

He loved tractors and farming. During harvest he would ride with anyone who would let him. He was a big fan of John Deere but could tell you about any of them. If it was old he liked them--cars, trucks, tractors. He was so happy when he learned to drive a tractor by himself. He never left the house without his hat. He will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him.

Kevin is survived by his parents Sean and Michelle (Miller) Doyen; brother Dameon Doyen of Pomeroy, IA; and sister Tasha Doyen of Waterloo, IA; maternal grandmother Euvette Makamson of Mississippi; paternal grandparents Tana and John Doyen. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Kenneth Miller; paternal great grandparents Mabel and Harold Doyen and Agnes and Ed Nelsen; and maternal great grandparents Lloyd and Mary Ann Kenning.
