Keith Keleher Obituary

Keith Maurice Keleher was born on July 21, 1931, on the home farm of John and Edna (Peters) Keleher. He graduated from Palmer High School and began farming. After returning from serving in the United Stated Air Force during the Korean conflict he continued farming. He began working for the United States Postal Service, riding the Illinois-Central railroad, sorting mail. He worked at various levels within the Postal Service before retiring in 1991. He continued farming for the next 20 years, retiring from farming in 2011.

Keith is survived by his wife Lois; their children Kathy (Mike) Meier of Dakota City, IA; Mark (Janet) Keleher of Overland Park, KS; Deb (Phil) Lenz of Palmer, IA; John Keleher of Hickory Creek, TX; Julie Boucher of Hickory Creek, TX; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters Shirley Harrold of Palmer, IA; and Mary Lou Korte of Ft. Dodge, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Paul; sisters Nada Benson, and Lois O'Connell.
