Obituary

Donzella Elaine Harrison passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, at Good Samaritan Society--Manson, Iowa. She was born on October 11, 1950, in Perry, IA, to William and Hannah Harrison, the oldest of six. She graduated from Perry High School in 1971. After graduation she moved to Des Moines, Iowa. There she met and married Vernon Sholley. Later they divorced.

Over the years she worked in health care facilities and helped care for her parents. In 1992 she moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa. While living there she worked for the Fort Dodge Messenger until retiring.

Donzella had a love for Country and Gospel music. She always enjoyed a good comedy movie.

She is survived by her one son Bill (Jill) Harrison of Manson, Iowa; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters Billie (Hank) Meyer; Rosemary Harrison; and Sheryl (Dennis) Moorhead. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Hannah Harrison, sister Olive Harrison, and brother Chris Harrison.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 27 at 1:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, in Manson, Iowa.
