She enjoyed being a member of the WaTanYe Club, that supported her hometown of Manson. Later in life she spent the winter months in Southern Texas learning new card games and winning at bingo.

Family meant everything to Deanne. Her happiest of times were those spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they all looked forward to her homemade goodies with every visit.
