Charlynn Stein, 79, of Manson, passed away July 8, 2022 at the Grandview Care Center in Dayton. Funeral services will be 6 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 in the chapel of the Larson-Weishaar Funeral Home in Manson. Visitation will be from 5-6 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10 am Saturday, July 16th at St. Thomas Cemetery, Manson.
Charlynn is survived by many cousins including, Eileen Junkman of Manson and Kim Pierson of Colorado; along with her extended family; and her Opportunity Living family at Rockwell City. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Charlynn Stein, the daughter of Warren and Vera (Widestrom) Stein, was born July 16, 1942 at the family’s home in Manson. She enjoyed her childhood in Manson where she loved being outdoors. Charlynn eventually made her home at Woodward before moving to Opportunity Living in 1989.
Charlynn enjoyed Lawrence Welk and big band music. She loved the outdoors all of her life and enjoyed all outdoor activities including, swimming and camping, and going for car rides. She especially enjoyed her friends and activities at Opportunity Living in Rockwell City including the proms, the ball pit, and petting zoo.
