Barbara Johnson Mullan, 98, passed away September 28, 2020 at Friendship Haven In Ft. Dodge, IA.
Barbara was born April 15, 1922 in Waterloo, IA to Charles Dexter and Alice Wylam Johnson. She graduated from Waterloo East High School and attended Iowa State Teacher’s College and the Minneapolis School of Art. In 1943 she married Alfred William Mullan, Jr. at her parent’s home in Waterloo, beginning their adventures in the USAF and traveling the world.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Bill, parents Charles and Alice Johnson, sister Nancy Ringgenberg and son in law Robert Bostrom. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Katherine Jungjohann, Kittery, ME, Rebecca (Daryl) Strahan, Wilmette, IL, and Ann (Jim) Schlapkohl, Manson, IA; as well as her 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A private family burial will be held at a later date.
