Dean Leroy Steinberg was born on October 6, 1946, at Ft. Dodge, Iowa, the son of Joe and Edna (Hartman) Steinberg. He graduated from Manson High School in 1964, and began working at New Idea in Manson as a welder. He left to serve in the U. S. Navy, and after returning home, continued working at New Idea. In the early 70's he owned and operated the Phillips 66 station in Manson. He then was employed by Brokaw Supply for over 27 years.
Dean is survived by his wife Pam; grandson Dustin Steinberg of Washington, MO; brother Bob (Barb) Steinberg of Monett, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Brad; and sisters Paula Hurt and Josie Essing.
